Sulphur Springs, Texas

Happy St. Patricks Day Everyone!!! Today ended Spring Break, for us. Our break was spent in Sulphur Springs, Texas, due to an accident with my
Mom-in-Law. She’s going to be on bed rest all Summer. She is NOT a happy camper!! Gardening is her favorite thing and this has really got her down. So, we’ll be spending a lot of time there, which I LOVE doing!!
I took a couple photos of my favorite places we see when we go visit. Actually, the first cabin I’m going to share is on our way to Nacogdoches, Texas. We make that trip about once a week. Our favorite restaurant, Auntie Pasta’s, is there. they have an Old World feel with amazing Italian food and, we love it.
P.S. It’s for sale, actually. It was built in the 70’s and I love the old look of it.

Then, when we get to Sulphur Springs, Texas or, a small town off of it called Dike, Texas. This is a little store I love to visit and do a little pickin’.

Did you notice the dummy working on the vehicle lol? Oh my, they’re some characters here.
This is the cabin you see on my banner and on my Facebook page. It sits on Highway 69, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, also. It’s so adorable and it’s just sitting here, wasting away. I noticed it leaning more, on this visit. This was taken a couple years ago. It was raining when we got there so, I didn’t get a new shot.

This last photo isn’t the greatest one but, it was so cold while we were there and, I just stepped out and snapped it. This is the view from the back of my in-laws. It’s so peaceful. The ducks are usually swimming and the cows roam here. My kinda wonderful.

So, I would say we had a peaceful time, even though my Mom-in-law isn’t herself right now. She has a lot of folks praying for her and she’s a pretty tough cookie so, I have faith all will be fine.
Have a beautiful Day ~ Dawn
